Gil Aldor is a designer working in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel. Gil specialises in designing high quality furniture and creating a wide variety of custom made projects for clients, in the spectrum between industrial design and architecture.

Art and design are tightly integrated in Gil's being. He finds inspiration in everyday life situations, when wondering around industrial areas, from his geographic origin and the history and the aesthetic it possesses.

As one who can appreciate good material selection and high quality products, Gil always uses genuine materials with the right finish. Raw black metal, brass, aluminum, and stainless steel are just some of the metals that are being used in his projects and furniture. When in need, adding a high quality paint of selected colors to the design. Natural wood and other fine organic materials are also being carefully selected to give the product its right feel and aesthetic. Each product incorporates several manufacturing technologies that at first glimpse give a simple and minimalist look, but when observing it once more, one can see a much more complex look that raises the question of how it has been made.

Gil was born in Jerusalem, where he graduated from the Industrial Design department at the Bezalel Academy of Art & Design (B.Des, 2018). During his third year at the academy, as part of a student exchange program, he did a semester at KISD (Köln International School of Design) located in Cologne, Germany. Upon his graduation and while taking part in the prestigious "Greenhouse" program at the Design Terminal, Gil decided to officially open his own studio.
